I'm don't always find it easy to describe myself. As you can see in the about of pages on my website... I got my fingers in many pies ;) Besides being creative, I would say I'm quite a free spirit thriving to put my heart in all I do. This is photography, videography, art, singing, traveling and making our converted bus and caravan prettier! But there was a road walked to get where I am now...

I'm born and raised in The Netherlands, where I did the "usual". Had jobs. Studied. Went to the gym. Saw friends. Often felt there was a connection missing. Connection with the world around me, but also with self.

Altogether, I don't look back at a hugely fulfilling life. So, I liked the idea of change and booked a one-way flight to Thailand. The 10th of May in '15, a date I will never forget. After traveling for quite a few months and 'just passing' Australia it happened: I found more connection to self. Since then, I started seeing the whole world as my home and back garden. Day by day, country by country, story by story, I became a different,

more happy, grateful and more whole me.

I discovered many things about myself, like having the biggest crush on sunsets and freedom and how much I love to be quirky, adventurous and creative and that life as a nomad fits me perfectly.

 

I started Flying Fox, as my last name is Vos, Fox in Dutch and I 'fly', traveled much around the world. For 3 years I go as Anouk Anansi, if you like to know why, you can read that here! From here on, I went from posting Travel Blogs to Photography. Bohemian Crafts with material found around the world, to Spiritual Blogs, Songs and Meditations.
